We are a welcoming community of lively people. We offer celebration, great conversation, hot coffee and goodies after Sunday services.
All baptized Christians are welcome to receive the Holy Eucharist.
Join us for Bible Study, 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM Sundays. It's always interesting and we have lively discussions learning about our historical journey here.
At the Episcopal Church of the Advent we’ll give you the warmth and personal acceptance you'll come to expect and enjoy.
At the Episcopal Church of the Advent we are committed to each other and our community. Join us as we celebrate God's love through fellowship, worship and praise. All baptized Christians are welcome at God's table.
Worship with us at 9:00 AM each Sunday.
All baptized Christians are welcome to receive the Eucharist.
After the service, join us for warmth, laughter and fellowship in the parish hall.
We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, gay, filthy rich, dirt poor, y aquellos que no hablan Ingles.
We extend a special welcome to those who are crying newborns, skinny as a rail, or could afford to lose a few pounds.
We welcome you if you can sing like Andrea Bocelli, or like our pastors, who can't carry a note in a bucket.
You're welcome here if you're "just browsing," just woke up, or just got out of jail. We don't care if you're more Catholic than the Pope or haven't been in church since little Joey's baptism.
We extend a special welcome to those who are over 60 but not grown up yet, and to teenagers who are growing up too fast. We welcome soccer moms, NASCAR dads, starving artists, tree-huggers, latte-sippers, paleoistas, vegetarians, and junk-food eaters.
We welcome those who are in recovery or still addicted. We welcome you if you're having problems or you're down in the dumps or if you don't like "organized religion;" we've been there, too.
If you blew all your offering money at the dirt track, you're welcome here.
We offer a special welcome to those who think the earth is flat, work too hard, don't work, can't spell, or came because grandma is in town and wanted to go to church.
We welcome those who are inked, pierced, or both. We offer a special welcome to those who could use a prayer right now, had religion shoved down your throat as a kid, or got lost in traffic and wound up here by mistake.
We welcome tourists, seekers and doubters, bleeding hearts...and you!

Oh my...how wonderful it is to see so many of my old friends! So many wonderful memories come rushing back to me as I read the Advocator for the first time in 17 years. The newsletter has come a long way from my copy, cut with scissors, and glue pieces of paper together to make it in the 90s! 😂 My 9 years working at Advent were some of my life's best years and I miss you all still. You were my family and I loved you then and love you still. Much love to you all! 😘
We would love to meet you and share our service. Come and join us!
